Objective The club would provide Inventors with a high profile base in Croydon, thus creating much media attention to the London Borough of Croydon and possibly helping with its bid for City Status.
Introduction The Croydon Round Table of Inventors, is a non profit making club, run by Inventors for Inventors. Monthly progress meetings; meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at Croydon Town Hall, 6.30 to 9.30pm, each member will be invited to discuss the progress or non-progress of their invention. A guest speaker will be invited. Light refreshments supplied.
Initially funded by grants from Croydon Council and the London Development Agency, the club provides a much-needed service for Innovators and Inventors that is unavailable elsewhere. The club would provide Inventors with a high profile base in Croydon, thus creating much media attention to the London Borough of Croydon and possibly helping with its bid for City Status.
Aim Successful inventors and their products would provide Croydon with many start up Businesses and also give local manufacturers and suppliers the opportunity to supply their services, thus creating many new job opportunities for the area. To offer an environment whereby club members can gain support and encouragement for their endeavours, and where members can share experiences and knowledge of the inventing process with each other, and to influence legislation directly relevant to innovation.
